Count the number of F's in the following text:

FINISHED FILES ARE THE
RESULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIFIC
STUDY COMBINED WITH THE
EXPERIENCE OF YEARS

How many?

Three?

Wrong, there are six - no joke!

Read again!

FINISHED FILES ARE THE
RESULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIFIC
STUDY COMBINED WITH THE
EXPERIENCE OF YEARS

The brain most likely wasn't able to process the "F" in "OF".

Incredible or what?

Anyone who counts all six F's on the first go is a genius; three is normal.

So... in an attempt to avoid studying for a final I have tomorrow, I am surfing around the internet and trying to find cool stuff to occupy my time. Look what I found for you guys! I've actually done that test numerous times and counted all 6 F's this time, but I guess you can say I had a slight advantage since it's probably my 8th time ever doing it.

Well, I'm going to go eat a brownie and try to study. Love you all. And let me how you did on that counting test... no lying!

  4. I got six too. But I think I've done it before too. But I'd still like to claim the title of genius, if that's ok with you.

  9. When I was in second grade -- I remember this like it was yesterday -- we had a spelling test and one of the words was "of." It occured to me that I didn't know how to spell it, shocking because I was good at spelling back then. All I could think was "u v" but I knew that wasn't right. So I turned to Ann Martin, and I blurted out, how do you spell "of?" she told me, so I wrote it down, and then it occured to me that I just cheated, out loud, on a test, and lived to tell about it. That blew my second-grade mind.

    True story.

ps, I don't cheat on tests anymore

  10. Good story, Jake. I'm glad you don't cheat anymore. I'm good at spelling, too. But I think I'm probably better than you because I could spell "of" in 2nd grade. :)
